ACME Solar is one of India’s leading renewable energy independent power producers (IPP), managing a 6.97 GW portfolio across solar, wind, hybrid, and FDRE projects. We develop, build, own, and operate large-scale clean energy solutions.

Founded in 2003 by Mr. Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, Chairman of ACME Group, the company first established itself as an energy management provider for the telecom sector. ACME Solar entered the renewable energy sector in 2009, commissioning its first solar plant in 2012.

Expanding further, ACME is setting up a 1.2 GW solar PV module facility in Jaipur and leading Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia initiatives.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, the Founder & Chairman of the Acme Group, established the organization in 2003. With extensive expertise in the power, telecommunications, and renewable energy, he has earned numerous accolades and holds several patents under ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited (ACSPL).

ACSPL, the parent company of Acme Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL), was founded with a focus on energy management solutions for telecommunications operators in India. In 2009, it expanded into the renewable energy sector, becoming one of the early entrants in India’s solar IPP market. It commissioned its first solar power plant in 2012.

Acme Solar Holdings Limited, one of India’s largest renewable energy independent power producers (IPPs), manages a diverse portfolio of 6.97 GW encompassing solar, wind, hybrid and firm & dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects. With integrated inhouse capabilities, we develop, build, own and operate utility- scale projects generating clean electricity for a sustainable future.

Going into backward integration, ACME Group is setting up a 1.2 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility under MKU Holdings Private Limited at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Further, ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited manages the Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia businesses with first offtake agreement of 100 KTPA with Yara for Oman project already in place.
